It has 1TB of HDD, you can't add SSD to it but you can replace 1TB HDD with 1TB 2.5" SSD.

But the sale representative told me can add extra 128GB SSD on top of that 2.5" 1TB HDD...to help the performace.

There is only room in the notebook's enclosure for a single hard disk.

You could replace the present 2.5" SATA 1TB hard disk with a 2.5" SATA SSD.

To use the recovery media, you will need to have an SSD close to the same capacity as the original hard drive.

You could however, purchase the SSD as a migration kit that included cloning software and a USB to SATA connector. The migration kit would allow you to migrate the current operating system, including all of your data to the SSD before installation.  See the following link for more information.

So is impossible to add addition SSD into the laptop together with the 2.5" SATA 1TB...seem like the sale person is not sure about this laptop...

He promise me to add some extra money to buy the SSD and help me clone the OS drive into the SSD...that way with the fast performance of SSD and extra storage space 1TB for my other medias and file...

The device I look at is 14-bf105tx, is that same with 14-bf105dx? Same chasis and no extra space for SSD...

Yes. Same notebook, the last two letters just mean it is destined for a different market.

13 and 14" notebooks don't have enough space inside for two hard disks.

If there were an m.2 slot then it would be a possibility.

Unfortunately there is no M.2 slot on your notebook's system board.

Please check with him. The whole series has dual storage option but your machine ONLY has Single HDD option the chance to have M.2 SSD slot is 50/50 UNLESS you open the case to find out.

Where did you get that dual storage information from?

I have been unable to open the Product content browser to get more info.

Crucial memory does not show that an M.2 SSD is an option.
