Yes, you can add 2TB 2.5" SATA HDD/SSD to your machine, you need the following part
Hard drive connector/cable part # L72698-001
which is N/A from HP

Please try

Thanks a lot for such a quick reply!!!
The laptop i said does have 2 slots already available 1 for SSD and 1 for HDD and in the description of same it's mentioned that i can upgrade both the disk to 1TB.
Product i m talking about is :
https://www.amazon.in/dp/B08CYTHY92/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_J1MFKEERN7HEZYNKRQ8W
So I m just confirming that...there is no misunderstanding... And I can somehow use both the disks (1st one comes built in 512 GB SSD, Another that I want to add is 2 TB SATA HDD)
Do i still need that part even if i have an empty slot? ( I m a hardware newbie ... That Looks like disk holder n connector but i think there is already a holder present for HDD)

Machine supports DUAL storage with M.2 SSD + 2.5" HDD/SSD. It already has M.2 SSD therefore you can add 2.5" HDD/SSD and to be able to add 2.5" HDD/SSD you need more part which I mentioned above. My machine has pre-installed M.2 SSD and 2.5" HDD
Hope this makes sense.
You can upgrade existing M.2 drive to 1TB or 2TB but you have to do more work.
Regards.
