Microsoft Windows 11

My HP Pavilion 15-eg0073cl came with a 500GB SS hard drive which is woefully too small for my needs.   Can I add a 2nd HDD and if so what type/size, do I need any additional cables or carriers for it?    Can I also replace the hard drive it came with with a 1TB or larger SS hard drive and if so again what type.

I'm thinking of making the primary drive 1TB or larger and making the original drive the secondary drive.

I've done plenty of work on Panasonic Tough Books with upgrading and replacing HDDs and memory but they have easy access.   I've also built many desktops from scratch so I do have technical abilities.

Are there any step by step instructions for replacing/adding a hard drive on this model.

From manual, the series does NOT have dual storage options therefore you have to replace its existing 512 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD using 1TB or 2TB compatible M.2 NVMe SSD such as
