I recently bough na hP 15-da1019np with an ssd installed. I would like to know if I can install a sencond/slave disc. If so, what parts do I need?

You could theoretically. Here is the Service Manual:

 

Manual

 

In addition to a 7 or 9.5 mm thick and 2.5 inch wide SSD or hard drive you need these parts:

 

(5) Hard drive bracket L20455-001

(6) Hard drive connector board L20454-001

 

See p. 45-49 to see how to do it. You have to add a connector board to the motherboard and then put the bracket on the driver to hold it in place while you slide the SATA connectors into the connector board. 

 

You want to open the laptop first before buying anything as there is a chance your laptop came with a connector board but it will not have the bracket. 

 

Parts beginning with "L" are very hard to find. HP Parts in Portugal does not have them.

We would have to search worldwide. It's probably easier and likely cheaper just to install a larger NVME M.2 SSD.
