Product: HP Pavilion - 15-cw1511sa
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I did look it up but the information online didn't say and there's nothing in the product manual that I can find that says whether I can add more RAM. 

 

I have 2x 4 GB DDR4 in an old laptop I could take a stick out of probably if it's the same type.

 

Does anyone know if there are two slots? If I'm not doing anything it's fine but it starts crawling as soon as I open something more intensive than  MS Word...

Hi:

 

Yes, there are two memory slots and you can install 2 x 8 GB of memory.

 

Below is the link to the service manual.  The memory upgrade info can be found in chapter 1.
