I have an HP Laptop 15-dw0037wm with an Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-8145U CPU @ 2.10 GHz 2.30 GHz. It comes with 8.00 GB of ram. I have no knowledge about computers, but my friends say ram is important for running games. So just can I get more ram and how? Please help

Hi:
Below is the link to the Crucial memory report for your model.
https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hP---Compaq/hp-15-dw0037wm
It can support up to 2 x 16 GB of memory.
The DDR4 2400 memory would be fine for your model.
The 2666 is also OK, but will automatically downclock or bridge to 2400 MHz, because that is the fastest speed the processor your notebook has can run the memory at.
