I have a pavillion 15-au030wm, when I was working on replacing a dying hard drive I accidentally broke the cable clamp that hold the HDD cable to the motherboard since I didn’t realize I could unhook the hard drive from the cable like a dummy. Ive tried tricks I’ve found online to put pressure back on it so it can work again but with no success. Can these clamps be bought or does anyone know the part number for them?
Fortunately all my data is backed up so I’m not in a mission critical situation, but I would like to be able to revive the laptop since it still worked great.

I looked at the image and can not see anything obvious  related to what you tried to describe.

How about circling it or pointing it out.

HP does not sell replacement connectors or cable clamps separately.

In the Maintenance & Service guide there is an illustrated parts list. Some cables/connectors have parts list but they must be sourced from third party vendors.
