Product: HP Pavilion 15-p215ng
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I would like to change the processor of my laptop for a more powerful one, but I don't know if I can do it, or if I need to change some additional hardware or what cpus are compatible.
I currently have the stock i7 5500U

Hi:
The processor is an integral part of the motherboard, and cannot be upgraded unless the motherboard is replaced with one listed in your notebook's service manual that may come with a better processor.
The cost of the motherboard alone (if you could even find one), would most likely exceed the cost you paid for the notebook.
