My laptop right now has a AMD Athlon™ II dual-core processor P340 with 6 gb of ram i was wondering if it can be upgraded to i7 intel to become a gaming computer

Hi,
It is not possible to change the AMD CPU to an Intel CPU.
On page 91 of service manual you can see a list of Processors of which many are compatible with your motherboard

It is never really going to be enough for a gaming PC
