HP ENVY Laptop 13-ba1000 (1J6N4AV)

I have a docking station that I use with my Envy 13-ba1095cl.  The docking station has a PD 3.0 port that allows 100W input.  If I purchase a USB C charger (65W or greater) and connect it to the docking station input, will it also charge the laptop through the lightning 4 port?  It seems that some laptops support this but I've searched the documentation and can't seem to find a definitive answer.

So, for anyone with the same question, I went ahead and purchased the charger.  It does work.

That is because the answer is maybe.

The only way you will get an definitive answer is if someone who owns a notebook and dock with the same features tries it and shares their result.

That person could be you but be aware that the $$ investment into a usb type-c power adapter is your risk if it does not work as expected.
