HP ENVY X360 - 13-ar0031au
Microsoft Windows 11

I have an HP Envy X360 ar0031au for which I have a standard power unit, but it would be useful if I could charge it via USB when I want to take it away on holiday.  Is that possible?

It ha 1 USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C™ (5 Gb/s signaling rate, Power Delivery 3.0, DisplayPort™ 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge) port. You can charge your machine using USB-C charger with wattage rating 65W or more.

Hi Bahnien.  A belated big thanks for your reply!  So it looks like I should be able to charge with the right USB adapter and cord.  It tried with various ones I have here including the USB adapter / charger I have for my work laptop, but no luck.  I need to take it back to the shop I got it from and get them to see if they can help.

Hi Banhien.  Yes, I tried it with the PD adapter for my work laptop which has a wattage rating of 65W.  But no luck. I will take the laptop into the shop where I bought it and see if they can check it out.

Thanks again for your help

Ron
