HP Pavilion Power - 15-cb092tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just brought a HP Pavilion Power - 15-cb092tx a week ago and I noticed that there is a usb C port beside the normal usb port. I was wondering if I could charge the laptop by usb C port with a phone wall charger or a powerbank when I am on the go?

Greetings @AceShimizu

Thanks for the post.

I understand that you are looking to know if you could use a phone charger or a power bank to charge your computer, is that right?

Not to worry, I will be glad to assist you.

Please click here for the specifications of your computer.

The power adapter for your computer is a 150W adapter, which is way too high compared to the power dissipated by any power bank or phone charger.

The USB C port on your computer is only for High-speed data transfer and charging your phones.

You can also refer to this HP Forums post which explains it further.

Let me know if this helped.
