As the title says, I'm thinking about charging my laptop via USB-C (more precisely in my car), while I can't remember if it was mentioned in the laptop's description that I could do this. So before I do anything, I want to make sure if it is okay or not.  Thanks!

Sorry, No- The USB-C port cannot be used to charge the computer.

Wrong type of USB-C port --

See  Maintenance and Service Guide

Page 6 "Left Side"

3) USB Type-C port Connects a USB device, such as a cell phone, camera, activity tracker, or smartwatch, and provides data transferNOTE: Cables, adapters, or both (purchased separately) may be required.
