Product: Pavilion dv6-3155dx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I want to get more total memory for my Pavilion dv6-3155dx.  It currently has 2gb in each of two slots for a total of 4gb.  Can I increase that, and if so, what type of memory do I need to get?

Hi,

Max RAM is 8GB of DDR3 1333MHz RAM (2x4GB)

If you purchase a kit the RAM will run in dual channel. You can use DDR3L RAM such as the one linked by Banhien. Here is the link again as the one above does not take to the page

You should also consider replacing the 2.5" HDD with a cheap 2.5" SSD which would improve everyday performance of the notebook.
