Hello Friends,

Can I install M.2 SSD shown in this picture on my HP Pavilion - 15-au123ca Notebook ?

Please let me know ASAP. Upon confirmation, I will proceed with buy this SSD and install it on my laptop.

Hi:

 

Your notebook does not have a M.2 slot that supports M.2 SSD's and if it did, the slot would only support a SATA M.2 SSD, not NVMe.

 

Only the 15-au notebooks that came with a M.2 SATA SSD from the factory have the M,2 slot.

 

See chapter 1 of the service manual for the supported drive types...

 

HP Pavilion Notebook PC Maintenance and Service Guide

 

If you want to install a SSD, you will need to replace the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" SATA SSD.
