Can I install SSD in My Hp pavilion AB-516TX ?

Does my laptop has M.2 Slot?

Will it casuse stability issues?

Please suggest any way to install SSD so that i can use it to boot up OS and other Programs fast and also few SSD options.

Hi,

I do not believe your notebook has support for M2 SSD as it did not come with the option. So your best choice is to replace the 2.5" Hard Drive with a 2.5" SSD such as the 2.5" Samsung 860 Evo or similar. (same performance as M2 SATA3 drive)

On page 49 of service manual you can see the steps to replace the drive:

You will need to install the OS on the SSD either by migrating an image, using HP recovery disks or performing a clean install with Microsoft media.

Did not find anything , it is star wars edition laptop not pavilion 15-Ab516tx.

I want to whether model 15-Ab516 tx has a M.2 slot for SSD..

Page 3 of HP Pavilion Notebook (Intel) Star WarsTM Special Edition Notebook - Maintenance and Service Guide

says there is option for M.2 2280 SATA-3 SSD. Page 53 is procedure to install it.

By the way, the Star Wars Edition is Pavilion. Check Page 7 to see if picture is the same as your laptop.
