Can I install a 8 gb 2666 MHz ddr4 ram on my hp pavilion 15 au-137tx?

Hi:

 

You can, but it is only going to run at 2133 MHz, which is the maximum speed your notebook's processor can run the memory at.

A DDR4-2400 memory chip would be fine.
