Welcome to our HP User Forum!
Your HP Notebook - 14-cf0006nx (4PT05EA) according to: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06146792.pdf (see table below), is fitted with a system board (motherboard) which has a fixed CPU, such as your HP (p/n): L24454-601 with the i5-8250u and Intel UHD Graphics 620 with 2GB of dedicated video memory.
The only graphics upgrade for your laptop would be to replace the entire system board and upgrade to the HP (p/n): L24456-601 system board, which is fitted with the i7-8550U and Intel UHD Graphics 620 with 4 GB of dedicated video memory:
But such a swap is exceedingly pricey (see: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=HP+L24456-601+&_sacat=0&LH_TitleDesc=0&LH_PrefLoc=2&_...) -and you would also have to purchase a new Windows license because this system board swap is not a 'straight' system/motherboard exchange, but an upgrade.
Also, none of these HP 14-cf0xxx laptops show that it is possible to connect an external GPU: https://www.userbenchmark.com/System/HP-Laptop-14-cf0xxx/91881.
Hope this was helpful.
Kind Regards,

That probably means you have the system board with the i5-8250U with the limited amount of UMA graphics memory only, and not the system board with the i5-8250U which has the added 2 GB of dedicated video memory (see table)...
