Hi! I've been reading this http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04091768 and it's still not clear to me if I can install a SSD on this notebook. Can someone help me with this? I'd like to buy the right one

Hi:
You can remove the 2.5" mechanical hard drive and replace it with a 2.5" SSD.
There is only an optional 24 GB mSATA SSD (not to be confused with a M.2 drive) used to accelerate the hard drive in select Intel models, and you don't need that mSATA drive for hard drive acceleration when a 2.5" SSD is installed.

The MX models offer better read/write speeds than the BX models do.
