Couple buttons on my hp pavilion x360 convertible 15-br095 keyboard started acting up. D button mostly fails to react and W is failing a bit as well.
I was told that I can't simply replace my keyboard, that I need to change a whole cover. Is it true?

That's right. HP does not supply part for keyboard, only the whole top cover.
