I have tried looking in the manual of the laptop but couldn't find anything regarding the upgradeability of the laptop. If anyone could answer this question for me that would be greatly appreciated.

Hi:
Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.
Chapter 1 has the supported drive types.
Your notebook does not have a M.2 slot and does not support NVMe SSD's.
If you want to upgrade to a SSD, your only option would be to replace the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" SATA SSD.
