HP Laptop 14s-dr2006tu

Hello everyone,

I have a HP 14s-dr2006tu laptop with 8GB Dual Channel RAM, through 2x 4GB (Samsung M471A5244CB0-CTD / 2666MHZ 1RX16).
My one RAM module has become faulty and only one is working. Now I need to replace the faulty one.

My question:

Can I use 1RX8 or 2RX8 RAM module for the replacement of faulty RAM and keep the other one same. Also, if I use these modules and both the slots have 4GB RAM, will the dual channel still work ?

Thanks and regards,

Harsh

Please use SAME as the other to allow dual channels to work properly. Please read more info
