Hi there !
I have a HP Probook 450 G7 and WD SN520 series 256 GB has installed in it.
and I want replace it with Samsung 970 EVO M.2 NVMe.
But, just now, I have readed that HP have whitelist policy for hardware replacement.
So, I am very worrying that my Probook will reject the 970 EVO.
also, I want upgrade RAM.
it will be fine for my laptop ?

WD SN520 is also a M.2 NMVe SSD series. I know before 2015 HP had a whitelist for wifi cards. I heve not heard of a whitelist for storage.
I believe you can use
https://www.samsung.com/au/memory-storage/970-evo-nvme-m2-ssd/MZ-V7E2T0BW/
https://www.crucial.com/products/ssd/crucial-p2-ssd
Or similar from reputable vendors. Many members use Samsung 970 EVO series.
For RAM, you can upgrade to 16GB, 32GB or even 64GB (!) using
https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/ct2k8g4sfs8266/ct17769529 (16GB)
https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/ct2k16g4sfd8266/ct17769532 (32GB)
Regards.
