Hello HP community!

As of recent I've been having some horribly glitchy textures show up in the games I play online. (e.g. League of Legends, Overwatch). This just started happening out of the blue with no updates/changes to my system. I've updated my drivers using the HP driver service, ran a ton of antivirus scans, and tried restoring to a backup point all to no avail. This leads me to believe that it's probably an issue with my graphics card and its probably just giving out as I've had this laptop for 3 years and gamed on it consistently. I've contacted my graphics card (AMD Radeon 5) manufacturer's support and am currently waiting for a response to see if they can confirm that it is indeed my graphics card with the problem. If so, I was wondering if I would be able to replace this graphics card or be able to get this laptop repaired, or if I would just have to surrender and purchase myself a new laptop? Any help is appreciated as I'm not too good with tech stuff.

Thanks all,

Shanesimp

Hi:

The graphics adapter is an integral part of the motherboard.

If it is a hardware issue with the graphics, the motherboard would have to be replaced.
