My laptop is Windows 10 and not compatible for Windows 11 because of the processor.

Can I physically change any hardware to make my laptop compatible? Any way to rebuild what I need to get it to work with Windows 11?

Your notebook's Intel i7-6700HQ processor does not meet Microsoft's minimum W11 processor requirements of an Intel 8th generation core series mobile processor or newer and the processor cannot be upgraded because it is an integral part of the motherboard.

if you want to install W11 on your PC as is, you can but you would have to use a workaround that bypasses the W11 hardware checks so you can do it.

If you are happy with your PC, and if you are interested in doing an in-place upgrade from W10 to W11 24H2 on your PC as is, watch this video, which is the easiest way to do it in my opinion, and I have used several different ways to do this during the last 3 years.

How to Install Windows 11 on Unsupported PC in 2025 (New Easiest Method, No CMD)

After you do all of the updates to W11 24H2, you can use the new Microsoft W11 25H2 enablement package to easily upgrade from W11 24H2>W11 25H2 that I zipped up and attached below.

I tried the enablement file yesterday on my old Dell PC which is considerably older than yours that only has an Intel 4th gen core processor and it worked fine.

Unzip the file, double-click to run the MSU installer and it will automatically update the OS to the new version of 25H2 after the PC restarts.

Then Windows Update will do a couple of updates and you will need to restart the PC again.
