Hi, I have this old HP 635 laptop. I was wondering if I could replace the CPU of the laptop, found out that I would need to replace the motherboard before replacing the CPU. I don't have CPU in mind nor the motherboard. Would like to know if it's possible to replace my motherboard and CPU and which one should I get. Thanks in advance.

Why not buy a new machine, at the end this could be cheaper than you thought. Anyway, if you wish, please read the following manual (page 74 and 86) then make decision:
