HP Pavilion 15-CC054TX
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I've noticed that several models of hp pavilion 15cc series and 15cu series have backlit keyboards. I use a 15-CC054TX and its almost good as others, but doesn't have a backlit keyboard. So I was wondering if I could replace my keyboard with a backlit keyboard.

I havent seen the inside of my laptop yet and I'm not sure if the connectors for backlit or non-baclit are the same. Still I'm worried that although the keyboards look very much similar in dimensions and color , still they might be different in the inside.

It would be really helpful if any of you with any knowledge of these stuff  could guide me through this.

Yes it can have a backlit keyboard.

To replace the keyboard you must replace the Top Cover. "Keyboard is attached to the Top Cover"

To replace the Top Cover you must completely disassemble the laptop.
