Hello. I was just wondering if it's possible to upgrade my ram with something better, probably 8gb or 16 gb. Just something to last me until I can afford a better PC. If it is possible, can I do it myself? And is there a certain type of ram I will need?

Your notebook already comes with 1 x 8 GB of memory according to the product specs.

You can install another 8GB of memory in your notebook in the empty memory slot.

 

See the service manual below for how to remove and replace the memory.

After you read the manual, you can decide for yourself if you are up to the task.
