HP Notebook - 15-ba053nr
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I always plug my HP Notebook - 15-ba053nr laptop computer, into the electric outlet prior to starting it.

I do not use it on battery.

When I start the computer, I get a message that the battery is low. Yesterday, a flashing light appeared beside the AC power socket. I use AC power exclusively with this laptop. I do not use the battery.

1) Is it safe to use the laptop with AC power after the battery is depleted?

2) Will I lose data stored on the computer if the battery dies?

I actually use notebook w/o battery but I have UPS. You need battery as back up because when loosing AC power, your machine could be corrupted specially when machine uses mechanical HDD.

Regards.
