HP Flyer Red Notebook PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi. I wanted to know, can I send my laptop into HP to get a new processor and graphics card? I am not that good with technology, and I can't upgrade my PC myself. It currently has an Intel Pentium processor. I'd like to bump it up to an Intel core i3 - core i5. Would it even be possible to give it a core i5, or should I just buy a new, better PC?

Hi,

To upgrade the processor you would need to change the whole system board as it comes integrated on the motherboard. This will probably cost more (especially if you get done in service centre) than buying new computer with the desired specifications.

On page 52 of service manual you can see a list of system boards:

Hope it helps,

David
