Hi:
Your notebook has a M.2 slot that supports NVMe SSD's.
I don't know of any reason why a 1 TB NVMe SSD wouldn't work.
The service manual doesn't provide any M.2 SSD drive capacities.

Here's a YouTube video which shows that a NVMe SSD will work in a 245 G7 if it has an AMD Ryzen processor.
This person installed a 250 GB NVMe SSD in their 245 G7.

If you want to just replace the 1 TB 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" SATA SSD, that would be fine too.
