I have laptop with i5 6200u with DDR3 4 gb ram at 800mhz. How much and at what frequency can I upgrade my laptop ram?

You're very welcome.

 

If your notebook came with a 2.5" hard drive, replacing that with a 2.5" SATA SSD would be a very good upgrade.

Your notebook can support 2 x 8 GB of DDR3L-1600 memory if it has a 4 GB DDR3L-1600 memory chip now.

Can I upgrade to DDR4 2133 mhz 4 gb. It supports this one to, read at Intel website

No, if your notebook has DDR3L-1600 memory, then a DDR4 memory chip won't fit in the slot because it runs at a lower voltage.

 

Are you sure your notebook has DDR3L-1600 memory.

 

Only a handful of models with Intel 6th gen core processors came with DDR3 memory.

 

Most came with DDR4.

Thank you for your feedback. One last question, can I also upgrade to ssd or not. If not then suggest me a fast had to improve performance of laptop because it's very sluggish.
