I purchased the HP laptop 14-dk1013dx a few months ago. I have a 500GB SSD hard drive that is in my old laptop that I want to take out of it and put in this new laptop. I haven't been able to easily find if this laptop can be upgraded so figured I would ask here.

As mentioned before, you can use it as a second HDD but you need 2 port parts
- Hard drive cable part # L23187-001
- Hard drive bracket part # L24490-001
which are N/A from HP part store. You can use part # to search online, including eBay
Regards.

The specs of your machine is
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c07042414
It has 128 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD. What is your OLD SSD ? Is it also a PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD drive ? If yes, you cn use old SSD to new machine. Note: Is it a 2.5" SATA SSD ? You can also use it on your new machine too.
Regards.
