Hello everyone I bought my hp envy 2 years ago and I'm happy with this laptop. It came with 1TB HDD and I want more speed. I'm wondering if Can I upgrade, I mean. I want to keep my HDD but I want to know if my laptop model has a slot for SSD m.2 and what is the SSD size that I should to buy.

Welcome to the HP Support Community. 

 

HP ENVY x360 - 15m-bp112dx supports dual storage in the following configuration - 

 

● 1-TB, 7200-rpm, 9.5-mm hard drive + 256-GB, PCIe, NVMe solid-state drive with TLC

● 1-TB, 7200-rpm, 9.5-mm hard drive + 128-GB, M.2 SATA-3 solid-state drive with TLC

● 1-TB, 7200-rpm, 9.5-mm hard drive + 128-GB, SATA-3 solid-state drive

 

Refer to page#2 and 34 of the Service Guide for part# and installation instructions.
