Hi, I have a HP Laptop 15-bs0xx with:
Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU N3710 @ 1.60GHz procesor
4GB RAM
Intel(R) HD Graphics
1366 x 768 Resolution
512GB memory
I have this from 2018 and It's running really slow, can I upgrade it? Add RAM or SSD? Improbe Graphics? My idea is make it suitable to run photo editing software but since im on a budet it would be great to know that I can improbe this one.
I know I need at least 8 GB to run the software, maybe more memory, and Full HD resolution (1080). I don't know much about processors but if possible know if this is close to at least a Core i5.
Thank you

What is your HP Laptop 15-bs0xx ? As you said, it only has
- Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU N3710 @ 1.60GHz procesor
- 4GB RAM
Well it is not for a good photo editing software. The bad news is you can't upgrade CPU because it is soldered to its system board. Upgrading system board with new CPU (if available) would cost you an arm an a leg because you have pay for new motherboard, new CPU, new GPU (if any) and new license of Windows.
In your case, you may have to upgrade PSU because current CPU uses 6W and moving up to 15W will require more hardware. My suggestion: keep it as a second machine. 2 years ago, I actually bought a machine for photos and videos editing, it is

I only use it once or twice a month and I'd like to keep it for another 2 years. May be more soon because my grand children now can run around my house on weekends. They could not come to see me from early March 2020 due to Covid-19.
