HP Pavilion X9K31PA#UUF
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I got a HP Pavilion laptop a while back, but it's always been very laggy and slow, and when I look at task manager, and other 3rd party monitoring programs, they all show that my RAM is being used at 100%.  So I was wondering whether I could upgrade my laptop's RAM, how much I can upgrade it to, and which RAM sticks I should upgrade it with, how many slots there are, and how much RAM can each slot take?

Hi:

Below is the link to the Crucial memory report for your model.

https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hp---compaq/pavilion-14-al102tx

You can install up to 2 x 8 GB of memory in your notebook.

From the list of memory kits offered, get one of the DDR4-2400 MHz kits since your notebook's processor can only run the memory at 2133 MHz anyway.

Below is the link to the service manual.
