Victus by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-d1 (53F47AV)

"Hi all, I own an HP Victus 16-d1049TX with an Intel Core i5-12500H. According to the official website, it mentions support for up to 1TB SSD. However, I’m looking to upgrade to a 2TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD.

  1. Can anyone confirm if the system is actually limited to 1TB, or if it can support 2TB SSDs without issues?
  2. I’ve checked the BIOS, but I haven’t seen any specific settings related to SSD capacity. Does the BIOS have any limitations or restrictions when upgrading to 2TB SSD?
  3. Have any of you upgraded to a 2TB SSD on this model? If so, did you encounter any issues?"

Hi @Chengwei9615

In the manual it usually refers to how this laptop is commercialized, you can put the M.2 NVMe of the size you want from 1TB, 12TB or more.
