I wanted my computer to run a bit faster and I was wondering what is the best upgrades I can put for my cpu and ram

The CPU is an integral part of the motherboard and cannot be upgraded.

 

See chapter 1 of the service manual for the memory upgrade information.

You may want to consider replacing the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a better performing 2.5" SATA solid state drive (SSD) or a M.2 SSD--the M.2 slot is visible after your remove the motherboard.

 

You have to remove the motherboard to install the memory in your notebook.
