HP Pavilion 15-ec0012ng
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I bought the Pavillion ec-0012ng and I am satisfied with the performance it has. But I would like to know if there a possibility to upgrade the screen to a 120hz or 144 hz one ?

Theoretically. HP did offer a 144 hz 300 nit panel as an option. If you could find that part it could be swapped over but you are likely looking at investing a good percentage of the price of the laptop into it where that optional upgrade would have cost you maybe $100 extra at the time of original sale. But if you really want to do this and cost be d****d then we can help you find the part and do it if anyone can.

Hello Huffer,

thank you for your answer. I bought this notebook when it was on sale. I would be really glad if I can the part number of the 144 hz panel and make a decision if i want to do it.

The eBay auction says 30 pin but I am skeptical. When replacing a panel I always remove the old one first just to see what the cable connection and mounting hole placement is and be sure the replacement is the same.
