Hello,
I bought hp Envy X360 15-cn1701ng which has an Nvidia GeForce MX150 4GB DDR5 dedicated graphics card. I would like to use my present notebook for Deep Learning applications and since MX150 is not Cuda enabled I am finding it tough to work with my CPU alone. So, I was wondering if I could upgrade my graphics card to Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 or 1080. Please let me know if this is possible.
Thanks in advance and Cheers,

Hi:
The GPU is an integral part of the motherboard, and cannot be upgraded without replacing the motherboard with one listed in your notebook's service manual that may come with better graphics.
That would cost as much or more as buying a new notebook with the GTX1060 graphics already included.

The series does NOT offer higher specs GTX card, only GeForce MX150.No other choice.
Did you know upgrading your machine with a different video card you have to buy a whole new system board (if available) ? You have to pay for new system board which has
(a) Motherboard,
(b) CPU / Processor
(c) GPU if available
(d) New Windows license (you can't reuse old license)
Because all 4 above components are on one piece of hardware called system board.
Regards.
