I know the answer to my question is almost certainly a no but I would like to know for sure. Is it even remotely possible to upgrade my laptops GPU?

If not I'll of course have to live it but some games I have don't run well at all and right now it would be much more economical to upgrade than have to buy a new system. The tech specs says it has a dedicated GPU not integrated graphics.

Thanks for the help one way or another.

Hi:

Your notebook had the best graphics system available at the time.

There is no way to upgrade the graphics.  All the gpu's are soldered to the motherboard, and the only way to upgrade the graphics would be to replace the entire motherboard.  But since you are already at the top of the mark, that option doesn't exist for you.

Nobody makes any notebooks with upgradable graphics 'cards.'

If you want an option like that, you would need to plunk down about $2K for a mobile workstation.
