Is it possible to upgrade my laptop's RAM? It currently has 2GB RAM and I would like to upgrade it. How much RAM can I fit into it?

Hi:
Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.
The memory upgrade info can be found in chapter 1.
I believe your notebook only has one memory slot, and you can remove the 2 GB memory module and install an 8 GB memory module.

The part of the manual that is confusing is that it also says this...Supports up to 2 GB max on-board system memory (for models with E1-6010 processors).
I take that to mean the memory is part of the motherboard.
You may want to open up the notebook and look inside before ordering memory for it.

Like I wrote yesterday, I suggest you open it up and make sure there are one or two memory slots you can add memory to.
The service manual doesn't even list a E1-6010 processor, but yours has the 6015, so it may be the same kind of design.
The crucial memory site indicates your model has two memory slots and you can install 2 x 8 GB for a total of 16 GB.
If you buy memory from Crucial they guarantee compatibility.

But I really think you should take a look inside first before buying any memory.
