Right now I have 8gb ram with the 862398-855 stick. Can I have dual channel on this model? Or a single 16gb stick?

 

Also, is there a way to upgrade my wifi component?

The Crucial memory report indicates your notebook will support up to 2 x 32 GB of memory.

If you want dual channel, you should add a second 8 GB memory chip in the empty slot or 2 x 16 GB of memory.

 

I don't see any reason why you couldn't upgrade your PC's RTL8822CE Wi-Fi card to this model:

 

Intel AX210 Wi-Fi 6E 2x2 AX + Bluetooth 5.2 M.2 2230 non-vPro   HP part # M27269-005.

 

The only service manual available is the one for the older model series.
