HP Spectre x360 - 15-df0599na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, Currys recently replaced my old HP Spectre x360 with a 2019 model (15-df0599na) as the previous one had all sorts of problems. However, the replacement doesn't have a 4K screen like the older one, but an FHD one, and looking in the HP store the 4K seems to be optional. Bear in mind that the price tag in Currys is £1999 with the 1080p screen and £1799 in HP with the 2160p screen.

Is it possible to replace the current FHD screen with a 4K screen? If so, where would I buy it from and who would replace it?

Thanks,

Chris

See p. 20 of the Manual here:

HP only spares the screen as an entire hinges-up assembly which could theoretically be swapped onto the laptop but what are you thinking this is going to cost?

HP does not have the part in stock but you may be able to find a reseller. If you have to pay for labor to do this figure at least 500 pounds all in.
