So I have a HP Omen 15.6" LCD Notebook PC and it has 8gb of ram in it. In the interest of playing PUBG better, I read that 16gb of ram is ideal. So am I able to upgrade the ram in this pc, or is it stuck how it is? Also, if I can upgrade, can someone link me a reputable site to buy the ram from? I'm pretty new to all of this. Also, do can I buy another 8gb stick, or do I have to get a 16gb stick.

Hi,
Your machine is an HP OMEN by HP Laptop PC - 15-ax033dx
http://www8.hp.com/h20195/v2/GetPDF.aspx/c05192071.pdf
https://support.hp.com/ie-en/document/c05187528
It supports 16GB of RAM. The first manual on the following link shows you more about RAM supported, part number (p42) and how to add/replace RAM

Normally for HP Omen 15" machines, we can upgrade to 16GB. I don't know your machine therefore I can't say more. What is it ? Please use the following instructions to find out the model/product of your machine:

Hey sorry to bother you again but can you just let me know if this ram will definitely combine with my current ram and create 16gb?
I just want to make sure before I spend $80

No see the word "desktop" in there? It's desktop memory, not laptop. And you don't need anything glitzy or so-called performance memory. Where are you located (country)? We need to find you a duplicate of what is in the laptop now.

Sorry to get all nitpicky but the link you send is for a Samsung M471A1K43BB0-CPB 8GB DDR4-2133 SO-DIMM Memory but when I checked the HP app on my laptop it said I have a 8GB SK Hynix 2133MHz in my memory slot 1. Is the one you linked definitely compatible with this, or do I have to buy another 8GB SK Hynix 2133MHz?
I found a link for the Hynix one https://www.amazon.com/Hynix-HMA41GR7MFR4N-TF-PC4-17000-2133MHz-Samsung/dp/B00UZFQ9IM
I would rather buy the one you linked and save $20 but I just want to be sure here.

No that Hynix you linked is server memory...
this is the kind of Hynix you need:
The memory I linked before and this memory are compatible equivalent products.
