Before asking, my laptop specs are:

- Laptop HP 14-cm0xxx

- AMD A9-9225 RADEON R5, COMPUTER CORE 2C+3G

- RAM (DDR 4) 4G

 

  • Please tell me:

1. What is the maximum RAM that can be upgraded from my laptop above?

2. Can I upgrade the processor and GPU from my laptop above?

Hi:

 

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

 

Maintenance and Service Guide HP 14 Laptop PC

 

According to chapter 1, page 2 of the manual, your notebook has two memory slots and can support up to 2 x 8 GB of memory.

 

The processor and graphics are integral parts of the motherboard and the only way to upgrade those would be to replace the motherboard with one listed in chapter 3 of the service manual that may come with better specifications.

 

You would most likely have to replace the heat sink as well.

 

It would not be an easy or inexpensive project and probably not worth the return on your investment.
