Can I upgrade the RAM of 6 GB of my HP pavilion notebook - 17-g110nd to 16 BG?

As my laptop is becoming slower and slower, I would like to upgrade the RAM if possible.

The manual is for HP Pavilion Notebook 17 Models 17-g000 – 17-g099 Intel Models.

Is there aslo a manual for HP Pavilion Notebook 17 Models 17-g110?

I realize that your notebook has the Intel® Core™ i3-6100U processor that is not even listed in the service manual, but according to the product specs, your notebook uses the same DDR3L memory as the notebooks listed in the manual and the memory capacities would be the same.
