Product: HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15-eg3000 (78G48AV)

Can I upgrade the RAM of my HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15-eg3000 to 32GB from 16GB? What I want to know is whether having a 2*16GB set up is feasible for this system.

Hi:

 

The service manual indicates the max memory is 2 x 8 GB:

 

HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15-eg3000 - Setup and User Guides | HP® Support

 

Normally I would have indicated there should be no problem installing 2 x 16 GB of memory in that model series, but here is a post that I can't explain why after the person installed 2 x 16 GB of memory with the correct timing, that it still didn't work.
