Can I upgrade the hard drive on this laptop to a bigger size or is it just what it is?

Hi:

Below is the link to the product specs for your notebook.

HP Notebook - 14-dk0028wm Product Specifications | HP® Customer Support

It comes with a 128 GB M.2 SSD.

You can remove that drive and install one having a larger capacity.

The specs don't indicate what type of SSD your notebook comes with...SATA or NVMe.

Chapter 1 of the service manual indicates you can install a NVMe drive.

Maintenance and Service Guide HP 14 Laptop PC

Shows up to 512 GB, but that is just the storage capacity that HP offered in the model series.

You can probably go as high as 1 TB if you wanted to.
