HP ENVY dv7-7243nr NB
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I currently have an HP ENVY dv7-7243nr Notebook PC with a Core i5 dual-core processor and I was wondering if it would be possible to upgrade the processor to a Core i7 quad-core like an i7-3630QM or an i7-3632QM, and if it would have any cooling problems if I were to do so.

Here are the laptop's current specifications:

CPU: Intel Core i5-3210M CPU @ 2.50GHz

Memory: 16GB DDR3-1600MHz

Storage: KINGSTON A400 120GB SSD

Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 4000

Wi-Fi: Ralink RT3290 bgn Adapter

BIOS Version: InsydeH2O version H.2E

Thanks!
